CHARACTERISTICS

The titanium rod filter uses a titanium powder sintered filter cartridge, which is generally used for pre-filtration or intermediate filtration. This filter cartridge has the advantages of high precision, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance. and high mechanical strength, and is widely used in the pharmaceutical industry. The shell material is 316L stainless steel, 304 stainless steel, or internally coated with F30/F40. It complies with the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) quality management standards.


THE MAIN PERFORMANCE

It features excellent airtightness, a compact structure, and high durability, making it suitable for harsh working conditions at production sites with no maintenance costs.

It causes no adsorption loss of'filtered solutions, adsorbents, or catalysts. and does not alter the original composition of the working medium.

Non-toxic, non-magnetic, free of shedding, and with stable biocompatibility, it is widely used in the pharmaceutical, food, and beverage industries.

It occupies a small area, resists high temperatures, and has good oxidation resistance, making it suitable for high-temperature precision filtration of various acids, alkalis, salts, and organic solvents.

It has high filtration precision and can filter out particles larger than 0.2 microns in a single pass.


CLEANING METHOD

After a period of use, titanium rod filter cartridges will become clogged to a certain extent, which is characterized by reduced flow rate and increased pressure at the front end of the filtration system. For example, if the pressure rises from below 0.22 MPa to above 0.3 MPa, the filter cartridge needs to be cleaned. Common cleaning methods are as follows:

For newly used filter cartridges, backwashing with clean water and backblowing with gas are generally used. Specifically, clean water at a pressure slightly higher than the working pressure (e.g., 0.3 MPa) is injected in the reverse direction for cleaning. The backwashing time is approximately l to 3 minutes. If the filtration effect is not obvious after multiple backwashings, the filter cartridge can be soaked at room temperature in a hydrochloric acid solution (concentration ≤ 5%), a sulfuric acid solution (concentration ≤ 8%), or a NaOH (sodium hydroxide) solution (concentration ≤ 10%), followed by rinsing thoroughly with clean water. The specific choice between acid cleaning and alkali cleaning depends on whether the impurities in the filtered liquid are more soluble in acid or alkali.


POINTS FOR ATTENTION IN USE

Avoid seratches, collisions, dust, and oil contamination During use, the operating pressure shall not exceed the rated operating pressure. For normal operation, there shall be a low-pressure start-up period of at least 3-5 minutes, and the relative pressure difference shall be controlled below 0 3 MPa. After that, gradually adjust the operating pressure to the normal required level (the maximum pressure shall not exceed 0.4 MPa). After operating for a certain cycle, the pressure may rise and the flow rate may decrease due to the clogging of the filter element, requiring backflushing or backwashing for regeneration. The regeneration cyele depends on the rated pressure and flow rate.
